Palace says revision of ‘Lupang Hinirang’ up to Congress
Malacaangis leavingit to Congress to decide on the proposal of Sen. Vicente "Tito" Sotto III to amend the closing lyrics of "Lupang Hinirang," saying the country has more serious problems to face.
"Iniiwan na po namin 'yan sa Kongreso. Mas maraming mas matitinding problema na dapat harapin. Bahala na po ang Kongreso diyan," Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a Palace briefing.
