TUGUEGARAO CITY -- Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba, a 60-year-old medical doctor by profession, was reelected to his post and was proclaimed winner on Thursday, beating his closest rival Rep. Randolph Ting.

Receiving 254,598 votes, Mamba won over Ting, who got 167,872, and former Gov. Alvaro Antonio, who obtained 91,973 votes.
